    In Memoriam: Service planned for Mollin Michael


    Nancy Mollin Michael, 63, an accomplished scientist in virology and immunology, died March 30, in her home in Hyde Park. Michael also was an avid gardener, cook, hiker, reader, swimmer and a mother of two children. The cause of death was brain and spinal cancer.

    A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m. in Bond Chapel on the University campus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nancy Michael Memorial Fund at the Harris School of Public Policy Studies, (773) 702-4522, or to the Sierra Club.

    She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert; their daughter, Alice; their son, Tom; two grandchildren, Daniel and Sadie; and a sister, Leslie Mollin.
