    Marshall Sahlins, the Charles F. Grey Distinguished Service Professor in Anthropology and the Social Sciences Collegiate Division, will be a guest on WFMT Radio’s Critical Thinking program Monday, April 3, with host Andrew Patner.

    Sahlins will discuss his recent book, Apologies to Thucydides: Understanding History as Culture and Vice Versa. The program will air at 10 p.m.

    The following week on Monday, April 10, Patner will welcome guest James Redfield, the Edward Olson Distinguished Service Professor in Classics and the College, who will discuss his most current book, The Locrian Maidens: Love and Death in Greek Italy.
