Accolades

Monika Piazzesi, Assistant Professor of Finance in the Graduate School of Business, has received the Chookaszian Endowed Risk Management Prize for her outstanding published paper in the field of risk management. Dennis Chookaszian (M.B.A.,’68), a member of the Council on the GSB and the retired chairman and CEO of CNA Insurance Cos., created the award.

John Huizinga, the Walter David “Bud” Fackler Distinguished Service Professor of Economics in the GSB, has been awarded the Arthur L. Kelly Faculty Prize for Exceptional Service for his efforts to ensure that the GSB Hyde Park Center would meet the demands of its students, faculty and staff, and that the building opened as scheduled and on budget. Arthur Kelly (M.B.A.,’64), managing partner of KEL Enterprises, a University Trustee and a former member of the Council on the GSB, supports this prize.
