In Memoriam

The University will honor the late Langdon Gilkey, the Shailar Mathews Professor Emeritus in the Divinity School, in a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, in Bond Chapel, 1025 E. 58th St. One of the most influential American Christian theologians of the 20th century, Gilkey died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at the age of 85.
