On the Air

An episode of “Super Surgery” featuring a University surgical team led by Madelyn Kahana and McKay McKinnon will air this month on the Discovery Health channel.

Kahana, Professor and Section Chief of Critical Care Medicine in Pediatrics, and McKinnon, Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery in Surgery, flew to Romania to surgically remove a 160-pound tumor that was attached to the back of 47-year-old Lucica Bunghez.

The program will air at 9 p.m. and midnight EST, Saturday, Jan. 22, and again at 1 p.m. EST Sunday, Jan. 23.
