    More than 600 design drawings were produced for the construction of the University’s new Interdivisional Research Building, but that number does not include the shop drawings, such as those at right, which contractors use to verify with the engineers all the various steps in the building process. Ten to 12 percent of a building’s cost goes into document production, said Robert Holliday, Director of Project Management for Facilities Services. Look for more photos related to the IRB’s progress in future issues of the Chronicle.
