In Memoriam

A memorial service to celebrate the life of the late H.G. Williams-Ashman, the Maurice Goldblatt Professor Emeritus in the Ben May Institute for Cancer Research and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, in Bond Chapel, 1025 E. 58th St.

A reception will follow in the adjacent Swift Hall.

Williams-Ashman, who began teaching at the University in 1953, and who served as interim director of the Ben May Institute for Cancer Research from 1983 to 1986, died Monday, May 24, at the University Hospitals. He was 78.
