In Memoriam

Friends and colleagues of the late Aaron Director have planned a memorial service for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. The service, which will celebrate Director’s life, will be held in the institution’s Stauffer Auditorium.

Director, who was a Professor Emeritus in the University’s Law School, founded the field of Law and Economics. Director died Saturday, Sept. 11, at his home in Los Altos Hills, Calif. He was 102. Plans for a memorial service to be held at the University are pending.
