Donald Reaves, Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer for the University, will speak at a town hall meeting Monday, Aug. 23.

The third town hall meeting in a series, which began with a talk by President Randel, will address the topic of The Erosion of Autonomy: The Growth of Regulatory Compliance and its Impact on Governance Structures and American Higher Education.

Reaves will discuss increased regulations that encroach on the autonomy of institutions of higher education, which for many years have been allowed independence in their operations.

Reaves will speak from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 120 in Kent Hall. Faculty, students and staff members are welcome to attend the meeting.
