    Robert Morrissey (left), Executive Director of the University’s Center in Paris and the Benjamin Franklin Professor in Romance Languages & Literatures, and John Boyer, Dean of the College and the Martin A. Ryerson Distinguished Service Professor in History and the College, celebrated with members of the University community, including trustees, administrators, faculty, students and alumni, as well as French dignitaries and Chicago’s Mayor Richard Daley and his wife, Maggie, at the official dedication of the Center in Paris, the first University-wide foreign center.
