Marsh, former Dean, chosen to serve as Acting Dean for SSABy William HarmsNews Office
Jeanne Marsh, the George Herbert Jones Professor in the School of Social Service Administration, has been named Acting Dean of SSA, effective July 1. Marsh joined the SSA faculty in 1978 and served as Dean from 1988 to 1998. She now is the Chair of SSA’s Doctoral Program. Marsh is one of the nation’s leading experts on the development and evaluation of social services for children and families, and she serves as editor-in-chief of Social Work, the journal of the National Association of Social Workers. Dean Edward Lawlor has accepted a position as dean of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
