The Office of Special Events has announced the time schedule for Spring Convocation. Please note that the schedule is slightly different from that of previous years. The first session of the University’s 477th Convocation will be for graduating students in the Law School, the Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies and the School of Social Service Administration. The first session will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, June 11. The second session of Convocation, for graduating students in the Graham School of General Studies, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, the Humanities Division, the Physical Sciences Division, the Social Sciences Division and the Divinity School, will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 11. The University’s Honorary Degrees and its Faculty Awards for Excellence in Graduate Teaching also will be presented at the second session. The third session, for graduating students in the College, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12. The Llewellyn John and Harriet Manchester Quantrell Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching will be presented at this session. The fourth and final session of Convocation, for graduating students in the Graduate School of Business, will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 13.
