CPS students shine

President Randel greets the first five University of Chicago/Chicago Public Schools scholarship recipients at a reception last week in Swift Hall. Launched earlier this year through a gift of the Crown family of Chicago, the program grants full, four-year tuition scholarships to the College to selected Chicago Public School students. Students are chosen on the basis of their academic talent, extra-curricular accomplishments and other factors.
