Memorial service planned for former sociology professor

A memorial service for Roger Gould, a former Associate Professor in Sociology, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in Bond Chapel on the University campus.

Gould, 39, was a member of the Yale University faculty at the time of his death in April. Gould, a specialist in historical sociology, was a member of the Chicago faculty from 1990 to 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Erin Graves Gould, and a brother, Anthony.
