    New construction prep

The University’s Facilities Services was keeping a close watch on the environmental effects of the demolition of Woodward Court residence hall. Rebecca Bratt, Industrial Hygienist in Safety and Environmental Services in Facilities Services, makes notations as Doug McCormick of United Analytical Inc. monitors the site by taking instant particle readings on a Laboratory Schools playground nearby. Construction of the new Graduate School of Business integrated campus at the former location of Woodward Court will begin Wednesday, May 1. To facilitate that process, the Woodward Court parking lot will be permanently closed on the day construction begins. Information about the reassignment of parking spaces may be obtained by phoning the Parking Office at (773) 702-8969.
