Winter Convocation

On Friday, March 15, John Lucy, Interim Dean of the Social Sciences Division, Associate Dean of the College and Professor in Human Development, Psychology and the College, addressed graduates at this yearís Winter Convocation. At the ceremony, diplomas were presented to 29 undergraduate students and 502 students who earned master’s or doctorate degrees. Joining that group of graduate students were those of the first graduating class of the Graduate School of Business’ campus in Singapore. A traditional part of the Universityís convocation ceremony is the conferring of honorary degrees. Hugo Sonnenschein, President Emeritus and the Charles L. Hutchinson Distinguished Service Professor in Economics and the College, received an Honorary Degree at this 468th Convocation.
