    Polar sprint

Students had perfect weatherócomplete with snow and dropping temperaturesóduring the week of the University’s annual winter festival, Kuviasungnerk. The Polar Bear Run, a yearly event of the festival in which students run across the Main Quadrangle from Harper Memorial Library to Cobb Gate, drew a crowd of spectators this year, as it has in past years. The event also drew participants from the student body, who, just as their predecessors have, sprinted across the Main Quad clad in clothing more appropriate for enjoying summer sunshine, making the event again a memorable festival highlight.
