Construction begins

University Hospitals President Michael Riordan, University Trustee Howard Krane, President Randel, Family Advisory Board member Tanya Woods and donors Francine and Gary Comer participate in the ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Comer Children's Hospital at the University. The event on Tuesday, Nov. 6, officially kicked off construction of the new facility.
