| Political reviewGwen Ifill, host of the award-winning news program Washington Week in Review, visited campus for a brunch with students and President Randel on Thursday, Oct. 19, and a live taping of the program in Mandel Hall on Friday, Oct. 20. At left, Ifill speaks with President Randel during the Thursday brunch. She and her panel of guests, which included alumnus and journalist David Broder (below), discussed the presidential campaigns of Gov. George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore, as the two men seek votes for the top seat in the White House.
