	President Randel and his wife, Carol, greeted many students at an All-University Picnic, which took place on the Main Quadrangle Monday, Sept. 25, the first day of classes. The picnic, which kicked off the new academic year, gave the Randels an informal opportunity to meet and talk with members of the University community. Randel will be officially inaugurated as the 12th University President on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
