Women’s Board elects Feitler

Joan Feitler (A.M., ’55) will begin a three-year term as Chairman of the University Women’s Board effective July 1.

A member of the Women’s Board since 1991, Feitler also has served on the Steering Committee since 1993. She is a member of the Visual Arts and Social Sciences visiting committees and is a Court Theatre board member.

Feitler received her B.A. from Goucher College in 1953. She worked as an educational consultant for nearly two decades, advising clients on college admission.

Feitler, who received an Alumni Service Citation from the University in 1997, is married to Robert Feitler, University Trustee.

The Women’s Board will support 22 projects and programs at the University between 2000-2001.
