Summer Fine Arts Festival coordinators sponsoring a logo contest

The University’s annual Summer Fine Arts Festival planning committee is seeking submissions of designs for the festival’s logo. Entries are due by Monday, March 6.

The winner will receive a $150 prize.

Design requirements are as follows:

• “Summer Fine Arts Festival” and “University of Chicago” must appear on the design (please omit references to the year, such as 2000)

• one color (black and white)

• readable and recognizable in both large and small sizes

• distinct, yet simple design

• image created on a computer or image able to be scanned into a computer
