    Parking structure meeting tonight

Construction on the new parking structure at 55th Street and Ellis Avenue is on schedule, according to Meredith Mack, Director of Facilities.

Expected to open late next fall, the 1,080-space parking structure will provide a net gain of 700 campus parking spaces.

Mack encourages those interested in the parking structure to attend a public meeting tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the third-floor lecture hall of Swift Hall, 1025 E. 58th St.

Topics for discussion will include design and construction updates on the parking structure and residence halls, as well as changes in parking.

Hank Webber, Vice President of Community Affairs, and 5th Ward Alderman Leslie Hairston will moderate.
